Western Partner & Line Dancing

29th February 2010

Hi there here is our first newsletter of 2020, quite a few of you have been in touch with me asking what has happened to the radio station, unfortunately at the end of the year Radionomy who were our stream supplier to the internet merged with another company so many of us were left in the lurch, so we have taken a different approach to broadcasting the shows, we have signed up with and all of my shows are now going to there, the shows are either pre-recorded or newly recorded and as each one is finished it is sent up to them so you don't have to be waiting for the show to start it is an on demand system that is free to use, just go to
or if you are on Facebook just search for Don Valley Country it is a public group open to all, there you will find all the shows as well so please give us a listen.

Best Wishes

Here is our Latest Website Video uploads & Info:
We had been down to Baughurst in Hampshire to teach Partner Dances at C&D Sping Country & Western Festival 12th to 14th April run by Christine & Dave Stretch, Very well run & organised event over the weekend and enjoyed it very much, whilst there we taught 4 Partner Dances in all :-

" Another Night With You " by Bill Goodlad
" Cowboy Blues " by Alan & Sonia Cole
" Rollin' Home " by Alan & Sonia Cole
" One Like Mine " by Michael Schmidt

We have been asked to teach again for them at the April Event in 2020, details will be posted in our DANCE HOLS & FESTIVALS webpage as soon as we have them, details of the two other events that Christine & Dave run in July & August are already on the webpage.

The radio station that I am involved with now has a new website making it easier to listen to the shows , just click on the little dancing man just below the Listen Here sign. Whilst working at C&D Festival the DJ Kerry Watts proved to be a very adapt DJ and after asking him he has agreed to join Move-Radio as a presenter, if there are any other budding DJ's out there would like to try their hand at having a show or two on the station just e.mail me at and we will give you the info you need to join us. the station is dedicated to dancing but not only country, but rock & roll, disco or any other form of dance that you are interested in would be great to add some diversity to the shows. There is now a programme schedule on the front page of the Move-Radio Website listing all the times and shows that are on there, when there are no live presenters on air previous shows or a mix of music is played in between. My shows are on air Saturday & Sunday Morning between 10.00am & 12.00am.

Happy Dancing
