Hi there, and welcome to Alan & Sonia's website, we have a great love for country music and western dancing, mainly partner dancing, but also do some line dancing. Alan is a fully qualified Western partner and line dance teacher and has been teaching for over 10 years and also runs a country music disco, he is also an entertainer working in clubland singing mainly Motown & Soul and sixties/seventies but can also work as a self contained country act when requested to. On a Tuesday evening we help out at Wild Rose Western Dance Club, at the church hall in Rothwell, Leeds, teaching for Roger & Mary Wild. Alan does the teaching ably assisted by Sonia, and Roger is the D.J. You are always welcome to come and join us,Tea & Coffee & snacks are free, you can also bring along your own drinks, alcoholic or beverages. You can find this class lodged behind the public house The White Swan and the Church,on Church Street in Rothwell,Leeds, there is a large public car park across the road from the pub, class times 8.30pm - 11.00pm, entry fee 4 pounds per couple.We teach both Line and Partner dances at Wild Rose and you will find it a very friendly atmosphere,we also have a party night every 3 months with a live act on stage. (8.00pm - 10.30pm. entry fee 5 pounds per couple). This is a great fun night with Bob who teaches for all capabilities, going over many old dances and going over any you ask him to do, but at the same time keeping us up to date with all the latest dances as well, this class is well worth a visit.
